Sweat and Blood!

This time around, Mummy nak cerita pahit getir Ayah nak sambung belajar. Fuh, banyak dugaan sangat! Tapi Alhamdulillah, we always remind ourselves that everything happened for a reason. Perancangan Allah swt adalah yang TERBAIK! We can't deny it even sebesar zarah. Keep that in mind, ok?

Mula-mula tahu pasal nak cara-cara sambung belajar di luar negara ni is when my ex- roomate yang currently studying kat Sheffield told me about MARA. We were super excited (Mummy lebih-lebih walaupun tak layak pon haha) and try apply. Alhamdulillah, lepas ujian and terus dapat offer. Masa tu Ayah beria-ia nak sambung dekat UK specifically kat Uni of Surrey. Dapat conditional offer which is Ayah need to ambil IELTS dulu untuk tukar status to unconditional offer.

So, amek IELTS abeh RM 610, xlepas satu komponen. Then, nak cari Universiti lain tak sempat sebab ayah kena denggi and warded few days jugak la. Dah la bulan puasa masa tu! Lepas tu amek one more time (bayar lagi, hokeh) pon tak meet the university requirements. Nak cari uni yang offer course bulan February, very hard! Sebab mostly offer bulan September je. Mummy pon tak boleh nak tolong sebab masa tu just delivered Awe Dondey. Bila pergi MARA untuk drag the offer till September 2014, they give us a BIG NO! So, kira burn la offer from MARA tu. We considered takde rezeki. Bukan rezeki Ayah nak sambung blaja oversea.

February this year, Ayah apply MARA lagi. Dapat exam, interview but again, luck is just not on our side! Pfftt. Rayuan ditolak blabla yada yada. Well, we accepted the fate. Kalau Allah dah kata 'bukan rezekimu' what can we say kan? Ada la hikmahnya tu.

Jadi, Ayah need to back to work! Oh, terlupa nak mention yang Ayah berhenti kerja sebab tak tahan dah. Bajet dapat sambung blajar but again, NO! So after raya planning nak cari kerja la. Suddenly, Ayah got an email during raya. The Director from program yang Ayah mintak tu offer the scholarship for the tuition fees. Ayah stunned for a while la sebab Ayah dah tak fikir nak further study lagi dah. So Mummy cakap talk heart to heart dengan his dad.

Finally, Ayah kat Leeuwarden! Semoga Ayah belajar dengan tekun (eh tetiba, nampak benor nak stop menulis haha).

So hikmah yang dapat Mummy simpulkan ialah Ayah got time to spend with his son for the first 6 months. 1st year is crucial time sebenarnya for baby development sebab masa ni dia nak mengenal parents dia from the voice, the touch etc. Luckily ayah tak keje or belajar and always 24/7 dengan Awe Dondey. But the next 6months, Awe Dondey hanya ada Mummy tapi dengan teknologi sekarang,  we always video call guna facetime or wechat. Bila Awe Dondey tengok ayah, hurm, senyum sampai telinga okeh! Nasib baik dia dah kenal Ayah! Hopefully bila jumpa nanti, dia tak rasa pelik ;)
